ASP VS PHP?
WHich is better, does one have more /better options, speed?
Im sickened by this asp
emulationstation.com (takes a great deal of time)
which is making me reconsider asp |

I have always preferred PHP; mainly because of the popularity (check Hotscripts if you don't believe me). I think the loading times can be similar; and as always; it depends on what it is running on.
Also, if you choose PHP, you will get a lot more support on these forums! _________________ Bienvenidos! |

emulationstation.com uses ASP so why think
of reconsidering using ASP , that doesn't make
any since to all of us , explain please.

PHP isn't really "growing." It is just one of the many scripting languages available on the web; and happens to be the most popular.
Each scripting language is mainly made for certain tasks. For what you're probably going to do, PHP will be appropriate. _________________ Bienvenidos! |

PHP, MySQL, are the best two combinations possible. They are both open source, and most importantly free.
Believe me, after being an experienced ASP programmer, the switch to PHP was the best move ever. |
