|
|
Well I have been trying to install servers on my computer such as Apache, Xitara, Xampp and much more, and none have actually let others view my webpage, I can see it myself but no one else could. Now I like this Abyss Program, alot easier to configure that Apache and other web servers, but I need to know how I could get it to go to my Dynamic IP Address.. I looked into getting a Static address from my ISP but it's like $50 a month but includes Business DSL, and I have Basic, which has plenty enough speed to let others browse around on some webpages from my computer. http://efw.uni.cc now I got it set up for Dynamic Web Forwarding and downloaded a Program called Reactor which sends the company my IP address automatically everytime I log onto my computer, but I am still not sure if it is working or not.. It keeps going back to the url http://127.0.0.1 or what some people might call http://localhost which is my computer, my real IP address is totally different but I don't know how to configure Abyss to go to it. Can anyone help me? |

I'm not sure if i'm using a router or not.. all I know is that bellsouth sent me a DSL modem called Westell Wirespeed and I plugged it into my computer, hit launch modem and entered my username and PW and I have internet.. Don't know anything about a router. |
