Anyone know which script run faster: php or cgi? Any info would be appreciated. |

All depends on what the script does, but Perl scripts can be sometimes a little bit fatser than PHP. _________________ Support Team

I don't know.. I keep saying that PHP runs faster for me than Perl does. That's just my experience, though. _________________ Bienvenidos! |

Well, I have a forum that's cgi and pl. I have ran phpBB but I cant tell the different from the forum I'm using right now. Any more infos regarding this. Thanks. |

Well I know that some scripts have a thing on the bottom that says "Script Execution Time." IPB uses it, and a lot of other PHP scripts do also. Is there is a similar tag for Perl?
And besides, if you can't tell the difference in loading time, then you have nothing to worry about. _________________ Bienvenidos! |
