try running through the php setup page again
also if you have a php script it must be named *.php
change * to your file name _________________ Olly |

It shows the source code because you didn't install PHP right. So try all the reccomendations other people gave. If you need more help, I can try. _________________ Bienvenidos! |

Well I know whats wrong now but fixing it screws the rest of my site up. I don't have "/" as a cgi path. When I do add it none of my regular HTML pages load anymore. |

In that case, keep all of your PHP scripts in the CGI-BIN directory. _________________ Bienvenidos! |

That works but its inconvenient. Lets say I want to run /index.php which has a link to /foobar.html on it. foobar.html won't load. So I have to put in a /index.html which redirects to /cgi-bin/index.php. Are there better alternatives? |

The only other alternative is to uninstall everything, and then reinstall everything. _________________ Bienvenidos! |

That is exactly correct , upgrade to 1.2.2.2 if
you don't already have it , it has much better
cgi path's so you can have full controle. |

Now it works! Didn't think you could specify extensions in the cgi path. |

Thank you for the link. In addition to the Abyss tutorials for setting up PHP, ASP, and Perl this should help me out.
I'm currently going through some of W3C's and Big Web Master's materials.
Don't know if I'll ever be "fluent", but hopefully be able to get around. Thanks again for the link :). |

W3C pratically owns the internet; but in a good way. _________________ Bienvenidos! |
