One of the features of the latest version of Abyss is "Anti-crash protection system that guarantees 100% uptime." Is / should there be a way to manually trigger an event that would crash the server to see if it does recover automatically? This could be done while logged in as Admin.
I live in a world where we must continually prove that our systems recovery processes (backups, restarts, etc.) are reliable and do work as advertised. Thanks. |

gsownsby,
The beta version of 1.2 has a special URL which purpose was crashing the server by doing a bad memory access. This URL was meant to demonstrate the anti-crash feature. It was removed from the final version.
If you want to test this version, email us and we'll send it to you. _________________ Support Team
