Abyss and webpages have really nothing common. All Abyss does is hosts the webpages so they can be viewed by the outside world. If you already have some html pages made, and you would like them to be served by Abyss, just simply drop them into your "htdocs" folder inside the Abyss program folder (usually in C:\Program Files\Abyss Web Server\htdocs\). If have not created any pages yet, then you will need to.
There are many ways to create webpages.
1. Use a HTML editor. Design-based, or WYSIWYG editors such as Microsoft FrontPage or Macromedia Dreamweaver will provide you with the basic web building tools without knowing any prior knowledge of HTML.
2. I mainly suggest finding tutorials on HTML and other internet-useful coding languages (if you even call HTML a language...). Learning these will give you complete control over your website that design-based applications can't give you; and will (hopefully) ultimately give you a better looking and more impressive website. I happen to think that this is a very good tutorial. If you are not satisfied with it, you can easily go to www.google.com and search for "html tutorial."
Hope that helped.
And by the way; welcome to the forums! _________________ Bienvenidos! |

Firstpage 2000 is a great freeware HTML editor with built in scripts, buttoms, common tag insertions and the W3C spec for HTML included. It has options for the complexity of the options displayed - Easy, Beginner, Normal, Hardcore if I remember rightly - and is a hell of a lot better way to learn than using Frontpage.
Max's HTML Beauty is also very good but the site seems to be down for me at the moment. It's more complex than Firstpage but in places more powerful. A google search should find a copy somewhere :D |

To make web pages you need to learn HTML (Hyper Text Mark-up Language) It is rather simple. Go to www.webmonkey.com for some real good help.
The thing with HTML though, is that you can't do very much with it these days. To make a good site in todays world you will need to know more then just HTML, here are some others
HTML
Javascript
Java
PHP
ASP
Perl
C++
Good luck. Anything else? |

Do you put the webpage in your favorites list? Then go to 'hdocs' and drag it from there? |

Yes it is , this program turns your already installed fonts into a .eot file and all you do is link to that file with some style sheets code , I will post the
tutorial later today so site tight and it will be up soon , feel free looking up
the source code on that page untill than and also that has an anti-leech to it so it won't function on your site and you cannot modify it once that file is created 8) |

problems with embedded fonts:
-IE and mozilla/netscape use differnt methods for embedding fonts
-WEFT (the IE tool to make .Eot files) is very unstable _________________ and remeber kids! keep the forums clean! |

Where your html and files are located , click on edit and than select all and
than click on edit and click on cut and go to your htdocs folder located in
the Abyss Web Server root folder and right click on that htdocs folder and click on paste and all files will be copied to that folder for website viewing 8) |
