|
|
i have searching the forum and havent found a definate or detailed answer to what im looking for. i have a lan set-up with 3 pc's on a linksys router, on my man pc i had abyss running and i opened port 80 in the router and the server functions fine, i and trying to run abyss on one of the other pc's on the network and i can't figure this one out. i guessing its something using static routing and change the follow of the data on the network leading the the pc with abyss running being the 1st in the follow, but im not sure. any help or a link to the thread with the answer would be greatly appreciated. thanks a lot guys. |

Hey there,
if i get it right you want to run 2 webservers from 2 machines?
If so you have to run one server on a different port for example port 8080
Don`t forget to open the port in your router.
P.S. Are you dutch?

im just trying to run one server, but i had it running on my main pc but im trying to figure out how to get it to work on another pc on the same network, since they have the same ip addy, i dont know how to get the router to go to that specific pc instead of going to my main first. |

Basicly, you have to forward port 80 to the cpu`s network adres.
This can be done in your router.
How to do this is in the docs of your router.
What router do you use?
