i am trying to run the web server but when i try and enter my site from ie it brings up my d-link configuration (i have a router with two pc's on wireless cards). i have tryed to change the "virtual sever" settings like the d-link faq said to but when i press accept i get a error "Setup add error !". how can i fix this and turn off windows xp firewall?

do this to turn off XP Firewall:
Start --> Control Panel --> Network Connections,
right click 'Local Area Connection' and select properties
click the 'Advanced' tab ... and remove the check mark from the Internet Conncetion Firewall box, all done click 'OK' ... can you give me more info on your router problem ... like what is the specific error? |

there is no error going to the page. when i try to enter my site through my ip my router config. page comes up |

there is no "local area connection" in that folder
edit: nm i found it and it is off |

so your router and web server are using the same port ... what error did you get when you tried to change your web server in the 'Virtual Server' page of your router |
