|
|
I can view my console on port 9999, but not any of my pages on the server port. I've changed the ports, I've tried my external IP, my internal IP, and localhost. I've configured my router correctly, and tried disabling my firewall, but it still won't work. It was working fine before I updated to version 1.1.6. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening or how to fix it? |

Try accessing on the computer on which Abyss is running the local URL of your web site (as listed in the Main wndows of Abyss Web Server). It should look like http://127.0.0.1:port/ . Does it work? _________________ Support Team

Sorry about the late reply, I've been on vacation for the last while.
I tried the local URL, http://127.0.0.1 and it doesn't work. I don't get an alert or anything, just after a little while, I get Error 500, "Internal Server Error", with the little Abyss info underneath. |

I had a silimar problem when using any verion of php passed the 4.3.1 version. Produced internal Serever Errors every time I tried to access a php script. It also happens when running php 4 on 16 bit tech. |

No, it's not PHP, because index.html doesn't work either. Nor do any of my other just plain HTML files. |

Can you please uninstall/reinstall Abyss Web Server and tell us what you get when you browse http://127.0.0.1 on a fresh installation? (please be accurate when describing what happens, error 500 is different from doesn't work for example). _________________ Support Team

Hm... This is unusual. On a fresh install, Mozilla Firebird shows http://127.0.0.1 as the "Welcome to Abyss Web Server X1", but IE gives me a 500 error. |

Can you please send us a zipped copy of access.log file to support@aprelium.com in order to check it (the issue is really interesting, and by the way, this isn't the first time that users report strange behaviour of IE while other browsers work perfectly). _________________ Support Team

I have the same EXACT problem. I haven't tried another browser yet, but yesterday it worked perfectly, and now it doesn't work at all. I'll try a completely fresh install AND another browser... _________________ Produkt |

I've fixed the problem. In CGI parameters, I turned off "Read by Windows Registry" and "Read by the #! script line". I had both checked before, and it didn't work. Now that they are both unchecked, it works perfectly fine. Are both not allowed to be checked at a time? I thought it would check the first way, and if none was found, it would move on to the next method. _________________ Produkt |

Yes you can check both of them. But all depends on the scripts you run. _________________ Support Team
