I'm probably doing something very simple wrong, but here's my setup:
-Abyss X1
-D-Link WBR 1310 Wireless Router (port forwarding enabled)
-Windows XP w/ integrated firewall (port forwarding enabled)
-ASP.NET files created in Visual Web Studio 2008
Locally, I can visit Default.aspx and it works like a charm; connects to my SQL database and everything. It's a 3.5 .NER project and is set up like so.
HOWEVER, while I can successfully connect to the Abyss Server from outside my network using my WAN IP address on port 8080, Default.aspx acts like ASP.NET isn't actually configured (ie XML Parsing Error: no element found in Firefox and 'No webpage found' in IE).
I've tried both a virtual folder containing the files and an aliased folder to the actual project files location, but neither works.
What am I missing? |
