| I have PHP and Perl installed. I am trying to setup a php forum on my server. But I'm told I need mysql. I have installed on my computer, but how do i go about putting it on the server. And will that fix my problem? |

You don't have to notify Abyss that MySQL is installed. In fact, you should only configure your script to know where is the MySQL database. It is your script that connects to the database and uses it, not Abyss.
