I wonder (and wander) why php functions, like phpinfo(), and some CGI programs are running (like login.php) but phpMyAdmin does not. Extension php is defined for index files in server configuration, allias /phpMyAdmin is defined (virtual and real) register-globals=On in php.ini etc. I used run Winmysqladmin and it works fine. But now I decided to use php functions located in phpMyAdmin directory.
In reply http://localhost/phpMyAdmin/index.php appears empty DOS PHP execute window and nothing more or menu: "open" "save" (like in editor mode).
Maybe this is matter of using of config.inc.php - now it is located only in phpMyAdmin directory.
Help please - probably this is very common error.
