for the phpbb forum board set your execution time in your php.ini from 30 to like 5000 or what ever. I have mine shown below... It would be under resource limits

Use an image within in the url bbcode for phpbb. Its better off with an image than words. For the url bbcode it just gives it self a title as it is linked in the forums |

if there are no graphics thats uasally means that you didnt fully upload it to your server. Or it was not installed correctly. |

its more likely a server IP problem. Change the Ip on the host name. Mine says its timed out.
Are you on DSL, Cable, Dial up, T1, T3? what?

Okay what I will do is reinstall the SMF on my webserver. Plus tell what theme your are using, because sometimes the themes are badly scripted. |

I know he isn't using phpbb forums. Its probably it wasn't installed correctly in the database of the SQL server, which is uncommon if the person doesn't know what he/she is doing....:P |

I installed it on mine, never gave me a problem with none of the profile settings. Unless the it wasnt installed correctly, which can cause many errors to be honest. |
