I don't know if there's a speed difference between the protocols, but larger file transfers are generally handled better with ftp. |

Invision Power Board costs money, and I don't agree that it's better than phpBB either. If I had to purchase a license for a forum it would either be ubbthreads or vbulletin, not IPB. |
