I searched but I found nothing close to what I'm really looking for, although I did see topic 7959.

I would like to ask Aprelium if they have a list of valid command line parameters for the Abyss executable.

I noticed that these directives work (in Windows XP):
1. abyssws.exe --stop
2. abyssws.exe --start
3. abyssws.exe --service

(1) stops Abyss be it a service or not. (2) starts Abyss in normal application mode. (3) was information gotten from services.msc. In the services perspective, we can note that these directives also work:
1. net stop AbyssWebServer
2. net start AbyssWebServer

In the interest of looking for more command line-driven functionality, may we be privileged enough to discover what else is there as "abyssws.exe --help" doesn't work - it starts a normal app mode Abyss instance. So does "abyssws.exe --?".

Oops, sorry. I know what you should have said (rtfm blah blah blah add some profanities blah blah blah) and I think I deserve some bashing. :-D I must have seen this before but I forgot all about it.

Anyways, parameter
"-h: Display the command line parameters help."
doesn't seem to work anymore. Just an FYI, I guess.

loloyd,

The broken -h behavior is a bug. Thanks for reporting it. It will be fixed in the coming version.
