I am getting a 'listening problem' message when I look at the console and when I look at the web console.

I am trying to figure it out, but am not having much luck.

Any advice?

A quick search will reveal the answer.

Well I figured out what it was.

I guess the word ''halted' was the next obvious choice.

I understand the frustration some of the members may have when a new person asks a question that has been asked and answered already, BUT sometimes being sarcastic is not the way to build a nice userbase.

Just a thought.

Just a thought though. . .

I appreciate your links. I am sure they are very useful to many people. I actually found them very informative and actually funny.

You are assuming because I didn't do a search on the forums which produced the answers I needed, and then posted a question, that I have no idea of any type of manners or etiquette on the Internet.

This could easily be a miscommunication between two cultures. Considering that most of the people in this thread are from different parts of the world, therefore we don't speak in the same manner.

I would say that my response to the first 'use the search feature' was in frustration to the thought process of that anyone who asks a question MUST not have used the search feature, and is just plain lazy. So that must be why they are asking.

Anyway, I found my problem. It was simple and easy. I have used web server programs etc for many years. I was asking a question that pertained to Abyss Server and an error I was getting. I never saw that error in Apache or anything of the sort, so that is why I asked.

Have a nice day!

Nice one. It's good that you solved your problem.

Let's just ignore "rudeness". I get flamed in forums so many times for being a newbie and I got used to it. Just smile and let it pass. And remember, like what the link says,

"Answering one good question is like feeding a hungry person one meal, but teaching them research skills by example is teaching them to grow food for a lifetime."

Have a nice day. ; )
