Install Abyss on a slave.. ?

Is it possible to install abyss on a secondary drive used as a slave or an external drive connected with usb 2.0 - Running xp - ?

And which is better ?

I ran the installer to install abyss on f: (slave)
But I can't view the default abyss index.

Windows xp pro (no service pack) is running on c:
No firewall installed.
Behind a router with the same port open as the one Abyss is set for.
It was installed as a program, not a service.

I had it installed for a long time.. but I just changed my PCs physical config and ended up formatting my discs..
I might have forgotten something.. hmm but I doubt it after reading a few threads..; )

Basically, I'm trying to install abyss on a slave which is shared between 3 PCs..

It is fixed and it had nothing to do whith where abyss was being installed.
I had the router setup improperly
