Hi,
Is there a way to set the log-file size ?
Actually the logging stops when the file is 1mb.
I'm using AWS X1 (v 1.1.1)
Thanks |

There is no limitation in the log file size. But a good practice is to periodically store the old log (if useful) and remove the original from /log. _________________ Support Team

There is no feature in Abyss able to do this at the moment, but this is a feature many users have suggested. For more info: search _________________ Olly |

Been there, done that. Didn't find any info, which is why I posted.....
Seems like a pretty basic feature not to have. |

Jammy3,
I wrote a (freeware) program more than a year ago, when I first started using Abyss, to automate the creation of daily or monthly log files when using Abyss. The program shuts down Abyss for just a few seconds, which allows it to perform some manipulations (after Abyss restarts) on the log data. You can download the program and read more about it in the text file that's included in the zip file. See "abyss-restarter" at:

Thanks Bill,
I will give this a try.
I am evaluating Aprelium with Fastream, and to me this should be basic functionality.
Thanks again! |
