That "under construction"-message must be sent out by your router, unless you've added a page like that in the htdocs-folder.
Try to forward port 80 to your local server-ip (192.168.x.y) |

You do know how to find your local IP right? |

127.0.0.1 is to do with your operating system, it will (unless disabled) point to the computer you'r using.
You'r LAN IP will usually be in the form of 10.0.0.1/255 or 192.168.1.1/255, although this can be changed to whatever you please on most good routers. You'r LAN IP can be found in windows xp via start -> run -> cmd.exe -> ipconfig -> IP Address.
An "Under construction" page dosent sound like the sort of thing that any router would display, as I would hope that the router is "finished", so I assume you knew all that above and have port forwarding set up correctly.
It sounds to me like something else is listening to whatever port your accessing and displaying that. The only server I know of which has something similar on as a default page is netscape server and something a little similar in IIS.
Try start -> run -> cmd.exe -> netstat -a -b -> and look for inetinfo.exe on the leftmost column. Not sure what the netscape server is called though, probably netscapesrv.exe or something. You may also want to close all the applications using the net while doing that.
(Or you could stop IIS Server in services or ctrl+alt+del those applications in processes.) _________________
