ok here is my prob..
i have installed abyss web server on my computer wich is behind a router (belkin is my router called) but for some sort of reason it wont show my page but instead i get a error that the page doesnt excist...
i have added my port in the router wich is 8000 and also used the same in the configuration of my webserver.. still no page showing up
only when i use a local adress i see my page
but when i use the ip of my router wich u need to use when connecting to my site from another location it cant find my page...
plz any1 who can help me with this ???

Make sure that the IP you are using outside your lan is not like 192.168.x.x because this is a LAN IP. Go to www.abyssunderground.co.uk/ip to get your external WAN IP. This is the one everyone will connect to your server with.
Remember that if you are behind a firewall or proxy this could also have an effect.

other ppl does c it but not if i look with a pc on my network..
