I don't know if Aprelium would like this, but I they could supress outbursts by me and others by installing the handy ignore mod. Maybe they could find a mod that also stops caps from being in topic titles, that's really annoying. I remember a feature another forum had for spelling... get where I'm going? ;-)

Maintaining PhpBB with mods is not very easy. That's why we prefer not installing them.
But if this can help the forum "atmosphere", please let us know which mod you suggest installing.

Arctic, the "ignore user" mod can be useful at times.

I dont think the mod should be installed. It will result in everyone blocking everyone else and the forum will die a slow death. Aprelium and Abyss users dont want this!

Anyone agree?

The Inquisitor, now that you put it that way...
You are probably right.

Besides, ignoring stupid posts takes maturity and self-control...
not some button.

That's why it would be better for Aprelium to install the "report post" mod
I mentioned above. Let Aprelium take care of the rule-breakers.

Yeah, remember goose (we'd rather not)? He was one person that the report mod could take care of. I agree with you because we have had some people that have just been generally abusive, demanding support, then when they get it, throwing it all back in our faces.

Thats not what the forum is for so yes, install this mod. :-)

I also agree with this Report Abuse mod. Saves me from having to
e-mail forum@aprelium.com all the time when someone is being a
little rude , that feature would be a very nice feature.

When you think about it the Ignore Mod will start to get silly, people blocking anyone and everyone. The report mod has uses though. Although Aprelium can't moderate the forum all of the time, they can keep an eye on abusive people. If there are enough complaints then they could act on it.

We will have to see what Aprelium decide. After all it is their forum. :-)

I agree with the Report Posts Mod http://www.phpbbhacks.com/download/4965 I believe this mod would be very beneficial to Abyss Web Server Users as well as Apreluim!!

Not suggesting you should change, but I just thought I should mention that I like the idea on this forum:
