Is anyone here also looking to make their pages w3 complient? I tryed, I find it hard... I'd use like Nvu to do it, but it makes editing with Notepad later frigging impossible.

http://www.trielite.net/ <-- Not w3 complient
http://www.trielite.net/shwee.html <-- w3 complient (Nvu) with 1 mistake.

Opinions, anyone?

Personally, I think they look pretty much the same...

No difference with ANYTHING that I saw. Anyone else see something differently?

Your sites don't have to compliy 100% with w3 because most browses dont compliy with w3 100%.

I had this argument with a friend and lost, but I still stick with it doesnt have to be w3 compliant. They may have invented the language but they dont control the internet!

You can look at loads of professional sites and it wont be w3 compatible.

Google, MSN, eBay to name a few.

I try to make it as good as I can, I managed to get 295 errors down to about 100.

Theres my contribution :P

This goes to anyone, when you get traffic like google does, and your site is 100% w3 compliant gimme a call. Otherwise, don't worry about it. Your site will look the same if its complaint or not....

All I say is that it works in 4 browsers, IE, FF, Opera and Netscape your site is compiant enough. Infact, just working in IE and FF is enough.
