Does anybody know how I uninstall mysql completely from a windows xp machine?

The reason I want to know this is because I want to uninstall everything and set it up again to see if I still can remember how to before I format my computer.

Just go to Add/Remove Programs and Uninstall MySQL , after that restart your
computer and delete the mysql folder , also my.ini is located in C:\Windows if
your using MySQL v4.0.X but it could else where , hope this info helps.

You probably installed the zip version then , Delete MySQL folder. If you can't
delete the MySQL folder , completely delete it after restarting your computer.
