I know that this question cames up a lot, search the forum and got just over 1000 hot on the subject. Looked at about 100 of the topics and then moved onto the tutorial forum and found nothing that would help me so now I post this.
About 90% of the world use IBM, about 5% use mac and the other 5% is other various computers. 99% of things that are written are for IBM and usually don't help anyone else. I have search and found nothing all I want to know is how to make a SQL database on Abyss, I have a mac and use OSX. Can someone help me with this please. |

You want to create PHP script code to update a script and not abyss right?
(Im first thought that you wanted to know how to make a SQL database on abyss which you can't. Unless abyss went through a major change since i last used it.)
http://www.freewebmasterhelp.com/tutorials/phpmysql/ this is a good site if you allready have a grasp on PHP. _________________

Half Truth,
If you want to install MySQL on MacOS X, you should read Apple's article http://developer.apple.com/internet/opensource/osdb.html .
Once MySQL installed on your computer (and assuming PHP and Abyss are also installed), you can start using PHP scripts that refer to MySQL databases without any problem (such as PhpBB, PhpMyAdmin, PhpNuke, etc...). _________________ Beta Testing Team
