My ip varies/changes everytime i get on the internet? becuz last night when i connected it was
http://172.131.142.203 but then cuz aol changes alot it is now
http://172.130.133.251 so what should i do to keep it one thing? please talk so i can understand it cuz im not that smart |

You can't keep it one thing. You have a dynamic IP address, it will change everytime (or most times) when you connect to the net. You can either pay for a static IP (if AOL provides this service, which I doubt), change ISP to one providing a static IP or sign up for a free dynamic DNS service which will give you a hostname which always maps to your IP.
Search the forum for no-ip, dyndns or afraid.org for more details. |

You have a dynamic IP address. This means that it will change every time you connect to the Internet.
To avoid this problem setup a free sub-domain with Dynamic Network Services. You can then download one of their IP address updater clients which will update the IP address associated with the sub-domain you've setup. _________________ Olly |

yes now i got ace-inc.ath.cx but i kinda wanted my numbers :( i dont like Ace-inc.ath.cx i like my ip to be my site and wish it would just stay the same ordo i have no choice? |
