phpbb configuration error

can you guys tell me if this is configured ok ... im always getting an error when trying to start phpbb.

mysql is running ok green light is up ... i have phpmyadmin set up ok as well database is already created in mysql ... not sure whats going on

you have probably chosen the wrong database MySQL 3 has been replaced by MySQL 4 for quite some time.

also you don't seem to have added an admin email

i choose the version 4 as well same problem here a picture after adding admin e-mail + php version 4

Dieu,

Check that there is a database in your MySQL which name is phpbbdata and that root is allowed to use it. Check also the root password.
The problem you have is related to the database parameters only.
