Hi, I am completly new to this, how do I get pages, such as html, css, java, etc. to show up for others to see?

Insted of using xxx.xx...... Can I have a .com address? such as yourname.no-ip.com

For the first one put the files in your htdocs folder. Normally located c:\program files\abyss web server\htdocs (did i remeber that correctly?)

And the second one, yes goto www.no-ip.com and register an account with them.

When I put it there do I need to do anyting else to display it?

There should already be a default index.html file in your htdocs folder that should display info about Abyss... What is your IP and i can see if its up?

Aliases:

Virtual Path: /index
Real Path: C:\Program Files\Abyss Web Server\htdocs


Thats basically all I have got

what OS are you running? If it's Windows XP you will need to config it's internal firewall (http://olly86.co.uk/abyss/xpfirewall.html)

Try going to this link. http://overeasy.no-ip.com The link works on my computer. Could you tell me if it works on yours? You should get a gray page, and when you scroll down to the bottom It should say laha on the left hand side. If you get that then it worked!
