Just place all sources in a diretory (eg webmail) in your root directory, create a squirrel directory outside your root directory, edit the configuration file, and you'r ready to go.

Just goes to show, you make something idiot proof and they invent a better idiot. Try *reading* the SquirrelMail requirements. There's a hell of a lot more than PHP to sort out.

My quess was that all the requiremenst were met. Who wants to install a webmail appliaction without having a mailserver for example ;-)

For those who wonder, yes I do run squirrel mail myself....

People who think that webmail *is* the mailserver - I was guessing that phillipbosni may be in this category.

no thanks, but if it makes you feel better sure. anyhow i was asking if there was anything else needed because i was 10 minutes from going into work and i just wanted to finish the project immediately when i got home, but i do use hmail server with mysql and php 4

And in the ten minutes you had you could have spent 30 seconds finding and reading that link rather than wasting 30 seconds posting to ask.
