This is a fix for webpage showing same page after adding new info and or pictures . If you delete your history , temp Internet files and cookies you will see the page as it is since you updated it . There is another way also if you built your own page and have an HTML editor . There is a Meta Tag that you place between your <HEAD> Tags on your page and it works great .
Read Below :
Preventing Browser Cache
When visiting a web site, your browser will cache or make a copy of the web site for faster viewing your next visit. This will prevent visitors from seeing new content unless they manually reload their browser.
To prevent this problem, add the following code between your <HEAD> and </HEAD> tags.
<META http-equiv="Pragma" content="no-cache">
This works and is simple to do ( Hope It Helps You ) _________________ techman |

Uhm...yeah...
Or you could just do a hard refresh by doing CTRL+F5 or just set your browser to CHECK FOR NEW VERSION OF PAGE ON EVERY VISIT. _________________ ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Well ,
I am sure there a lot of things you can do , but for some users like I have noticed on here are a lot like I was when I first used this program . I spent probably 20 hours reading help , forums , etc.... trying to get this program to work . I found help on here ! At least some people were nice enough to help me unlike many other forums I have visited .
All I have posted here will help somebody if they build there own page , and maybe not posting another message on here saying , ( When I update my page it still shows the same thing I saw before ! ) Well I am not running the Beta version and I am sure there will be a lot more changes in the future (You can count on it) I figure if one post helps one person then I have helped out . Believe me I have never got this good of Info on any forum before --- .
Most of the people I have run into are As__ H___s on most forums , and give you some smart answer or none at all (just a smart remark) I dont even waste my time posting on any other forums -- , but I think enough of the people here using this program (some going through what I did trying to set my server up) . I am glad to help them any way I can , as I was helped . And By The Way , I Just Posted This On Here To Help Some Of The People Who Have Had This Problem , ( Like I Did ) ! ! ! ! ! _________________ techman |
