What you're missing is that your router doesn't support loopback. This means whenever you try to access your site via your real IP from behind the router, it will fail. You need to get someone else to test whether it is working for you - ask a friend on MSN/ICQ etc or test it yourself using a proxy service such as Proxify.com

Features Removed:
Virtual Server "Loopback" - This is the ability to reach Virtual servers from LAN machines by using the router WAN address.

The other problem you may run into is your ISP (Sympatico?) blocking incoming requests on port 80. If you've set up port forwarding correctly and verified that the server still doesn't work when accessed from outside the router, you may need to change your website to run on a different port. |

I seemed to fix this persons connection problem , it seems that the default
gateway was being used as the DNS numbers so I had to get WaZaBe to find
the real DNS numbers and forward the ports and the problem is now solved. |
