I a going to offer a web hosting service for people and was thinking of paying for a domain so that my customers could could hav a zhosting.tk/USERNAME or USERNAME.zhosting.tk adrresss. I found out that for them to run it on their dns servers costs a fortune so I was wondering if it was difficult to run your own dns server? |

Yes.
Have a look at zonedit.com instead, although at the moment Abyss does not have proper support for subdomains (ie theirname.yourdomain.com) |

Are there any easier to use dns servers than bind? I would like not to have the limits of Zoneedit and would be wiling to give a bit of time to figuring out the system. I would just like to know that I could do it before I would pay fot the domain. |
