because im lazy :P and i installed phpmyadmin and it says no provelages and i thought i handt installed it right...
edit-how do i change the permissions for the mysql database. i have a program that adds databases but i dont have the correct permissions _________________

You must set your permissions manually and the only way that ive been able to do it is inside phpMyAdmin. Do you get a xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is not allowed access to mysql ? xxx being numbers _________________

are you using root? Do you have a pass set for root? _________________

you can use MySQL Administrator from the MySQL group. I prefer it over phpMyAdmin... _________________ Olly |
