Slow to load...

Hi and thanks to anyone who can help in advance.

I'm just starting out with Abyss (and with a personal server in general).

When I "Show Console" the time it takes to load the page is pretty slow as compared to a normal web page while I'm surfing. Once open, all options (config, status, help, etc...) load normally.

Is this normal for the program?

My System:

AMD 2600
768 RAM
Cable internet connection (3 MB tested average download)

Yes , at first it will load very slow because I believe abyss has its own built
in programming language that may take a while to load but once loaded
every other area should load just fine , this only happens in the betas.

Note: If you have bandwidth throttling enabled , that will also effect the
console so make sure thats not slowing you down , are you using the beta ?

I'm using Abyss Web Server X1 (version 1.2.3.0).

"Show Console" takes about 15 seconds.

I looked at Sygate's Security Log Viewer and found this warning (everytime I launch the server):

Application Hijacking has been detected
The application: C:\Program Files\Abyss Web Server\abyssws.exe try to launch another application: C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe to go to remote host wpad.ss.shawcable.net

It looks like its blocking IE from accessing the internet , I really don't know
but you should do some further investigation because it shouldn't take that
long to load the console , on my win98 when I access it remotely , it loads
pretty fast like a normal website , it could be the computer performance.

You should do a check on the networking performance when you load up the
Abyss Web Server console and post how much of a percent its taking up.
