Dear All,
Slightly frustrated by the fact that my (admittedly pathetic) family site requires multiple logins as follows:
1 - When I set up the site I restricted access to all the pages, so my familt must login to see the homepage.
2 - I then added a link on the homepage to a PHPBB forum, which requires a different login
3 - I want to add a picture gallery, but all the PHP scripts for such things have user authentication, so to view/add pictures my poor family would have to log in AGAIN!
Is there a way to set up a simple structure that would allow users to log-in just once?

well not to me an ass or anything why not try a portal system like php-nuke or e107 which has all those things in one package.

The add-on gallery ROCKS! It is simple to use, easy to install, and exactly what I am looking for! THANK YOU Olly86!
I am unfamiliar with portals, but thks for the tip and I will look into it. I hope that will solve my original problem, although the add-on is a great band-aid .... thks mrblue

Ok, all good so far, but is it possible to combine the pop-up login for Abyss access to restricted paths and the phpBB login?
