I installed Abyss(windows installer abwsx1) then Installed MySQL-4.0.20d-win, I got a green light on mysql but am still getting an error "Not Found Driver 3.51 Not Found" I have the driver (if I need it). since I had the green light on MySQL I decided to forge on and install php-5.0.1(installer),that went fine,the browser now recognizes php file and works great...but...I went on to install phpMyAdmin-2.5.7-pl1 and after closely following the available documentation I get, "cannot load MySQL extension,please check PHP configuration". I get a similar error when trying to install phpBB-2.0.10...ive checked and rechecked the PHP configuration, It seems "by the book", I have pecl-5.0.1-win32...is this what i need to resolve the "MySQL extension not found" issue or is something missing from MySQL installation? WTF over. this is like the third time Ive been through this entire process...feels like Im wondering around in the dark hopeing that the next tree I run into is the one I was looking for anyhow.
