My site doesn't look the same in Frontpage as in Abyss. I turned off the Extensions and put the server to Custom as stated in FAQ. My hyperlinks don't show and there is no color but black and white. Any advice would be appreciated. |

My advice is to stop using FrontPage and start trying WebDwarf , its a free
web editor and can add hyperlinks , images , basicly everything , FrontPage
is a technology owned by Microsoft and they refuse to share their software. |

There's nothing wrong with FrontPage....geez!
You can't use FrontPage Server Extentions with Abyss (there's no real point anyways)...
You're page WILL look slightly different when using frontpage's preview pane and viewing the site within the browser.
HTML is HTML. If it's written/designed properly, it will work.
What version of FrontPage are you using?
Do you have examples of the page on-line for use to view?
Can you post the source code of your page? _________________ ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Thanks for the support. I like Frontpage and have used it when hosting on other services. This is the first time I am trying to host on my own. No. I don't have it online yet. I am using the 2002 version. I turned off the extensions before I started so I don't know why I can't even get the background color to show. Sorry took so long to reply. Thanks to Hurricane Charley!!! |
