Does anyone know a good web for buying computer hardware. I have found a few, but all the cheap ones do not mail to Ireland. Thank you in advance.

newegg.com is awesome, but I don't know about shipping to Ireland. Most of their things have free shipping in the U.S.A.

I bought a bass guitar on Ebay and it came directly factory shipped , its
not just people auctioning off their stuff , factories also use it to sell stuff.

TigerDirect.com
http://www.tigerdirect.com/sectors/help/international.asp

Find the product on their website, and place it over the phone (because you can't place international orders on their website).

I was going to recommend Komplett.co.uk then I noticed they have a .ie site...

http://www.komplett.ie

They have some good offers, and the prices are pretty good too...

There's also a bunch of UK sites who'll ship to Ireland but all have pretty hefty surcharges - as I guess will Tigerdirect. Probably be less on the UK ones but still going to bump up the cost of any order - for example ebuyer.com and dabs.com both ship to Ireland but with £20 delivery surcharges on top of the normal delivery cost.

Try to find a local computer fair, most major citys have one atleast once a month, theirs 2 in my city and I go to check out prices often as I have saved £100's just in buying from a trader, things like keyboards from £3 and mouse (ps/2) £1.50 and TFT monitors from £89 upwards, more mobo's than you can shake a stick at...

BUT like any buisness, you need to ensure that you know what your buying and what your buying is suited to your project, if it isnt then your stuck with that item until the trader is at the next fair, thats the only draw back.

BUT given that I built a machine for £450 that would have set me back an easy £800 in the shops for something that would have had half the spec too, the savings can be huge.
