Mail servers are easy to set up. First, download one such as "[url=www.pmail.com]Mercury/32[/url." Then, once it is installed, you can add a new user in the "local users" option. It is essentially configured right out of the box, so once you have added a user, you can begin to use it.
If you have set up a proper A Record with ZoneEdit, then using yourname@yourdomain.com should be no problem. _________________ Bienvenidos! |

OK Ill check that out. But now where should me A record be pointing to? My ip address or is there an ip address that Mercury/32 will provide? |

Find your IP at www.whatismyip.com , and use that to set up an A Record with ZoneEdit. Mercury/32 does not provide you with an IP Address, it is simply a server that runs on your machine. _________________ Bienvenidos! |

OK I got this Mercury/32 installed but one thing I can't finger out is where the hell do I input my ip address, and where the hell do I input all the usernames/mailboxes that I want for my domain?? |

When you installed Mercury/32, there was a box in the wizard for "this machine's internet domain name." Whatever you entered in there was the domain name that was configured. If you missed it, try "Configuration>Mercury Core Module>Local Domains" to add a new one.
If you want to add a user, "Configuration>Manage Local Users." _________________ Bienvenidos! |
