I just updated my index.htm file with a new template and everything,but when people visit my site it still brings them to the old index page. I deleted it off my computer but somehow people see my old index page. Could this be caused by the cache, or what? Ty in advanced

Yes, its the cache in their browser. Tell them to force a full refresh of the page by pressing CTRL + SHIFT + R (should work on Internet Explorer and most browsers too.)
