Okay I recently bought a new old cheap cpu good to play around with but anyways I tried installing php on it but this frikking thing wont work. I've tried 1000000000000000 times but still no luck. I used Trustpunk's tutorial which is a great help but still no luck. I followed everything on the tutorial and did it 3 times to make sure I wasn't making a mistake. My site appears but I made a info.php to test and see if it works but its not. Please help me :'( going hopeless. Also I'm running on windows 98 so any other questions let me know thanks a lot.

Find extension_dir = "./" in your php.ini file and change it to
extension_dir = "C:\Php" , In older Operating Systems , they
can't read these types of paths so you have to change it.

You do get an Error 500 Right ?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Note: php.ini is in C:\Windows

Download the PHP Zip file from php.net and place that
php_gd2.dll file in C:\Php , This should solve the problem

Don't forget, you need to also find your php.ini file, search for php_gd2.dll, and remove the semicolon from the front of the line.

your computer will probably not support php. if you bought an old pc, chances are it will only work with better hardware and software.

but, in anycase you should check what you input, and make sure your keyboard is not set to another language.
