I know this is going to sound dumb but I can't get the Abyss server to ask for a password when I enter my site.
I clicked on Server Configuration....Advanced....Users & Groups.
I added a name & password & clicked Ok & Restart. Then I try to access the server & it lets me go right in.
Am I missing a step here?

Yes--did you click on Access Control to set the permissions for your website?
