This has to do with DNS. There is a feature that ZoneEdit uses called "Robin-Round DNS." If you enter two different entries for one domain, then it "auto-balances" the load. So if one IP was unavailable, then it would redirect all traffic to the other IP.
This kind of thing is what big companies such as Amazon and Yahoo! do to lighten the load on one specific computer.
