Well, to be honest if you need to ask, you're not ready to be one - especially when you add in the DNS question. You might want to look into becoming a reseller rather than a full blown registrar though. |

I asked that question because I want to learn how, I am not saying that I know all that much about it or that i want to become a registrar right away. I am simply asking because in the next couple of years I want to slowly start my company. But I am just asking now because I wanted to get my own domain and maybe give some away for free.
I would appriciate it if someone would please send me a link or atl least superficialy explain the proccess. |

Xavier,
As most of the DNS toplevel domains are already managed by companies and goverments, all you can do is reselling domain names.
You can learn more from Verisign's site at http://www.verisign.com/products/index.html?sl=070101 (in Naming and Directory Services section). Verisign manages .com and .net domains. _________________ Support Team

Thank you so much. Although I might not be qualified in the financial aspect right now untill I get my company up and running. :D :) |
