what do webhosts mean by you get 1gb bandwidth a month?
and how do they limit it? |

1GB bandwith a month means that a total of 1 gigabyte can be downloaded from your site every month. If you exceed the limit, most hosts will display an error ("User has exceeded bandwith limit" or something) if you try to access your page.
If you're using Abyss, (I pray to Jeebus you are) then you ARE the web host. Bandwith can only be limited by your ISP.

| when you say 1gb a month do you mean like software pragrams etc or do you mean transferring their pages backwards and forwards that make up their website?? |

| Everything that's downloaded from your website, whether it's linked or you're just using it to store files and link people directly to them. MP3s, zip, html, images, midi, text files, word documents... Everything. The total amount that others download from your site cannot go over 1gb or the site will either go offline, or you will be charged extra. |
