| i upgraded and set it all up. i can acces my site by going to localhost:1024 (1024 is the port) and 127.0.0.1:1024 but when i type myip:1024 or gymboy689.no-ip.com it doesn't work...any ideas? |

it says that because your down grading , open your Abyss config file
and erase the line version , restart and it will work 8) |

| i thought it might be something with my router but i disconnected it and harwired my computer to my modem and it was the same as it was with the router so its not that... |

The new version is very similar to the last one. There are only minor changes that doesn't affect in anyway the way the server works.
Your problem is obviously a connection problem. So check your router, firewall, etc..
