| How can i use a favicon on my website? I know it has to an .ico file and it has to be in the website directory and then you put in the <link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico"> code but mine just wount show up. |

| You only use the link if you want it to only appear on particular pages, if you just want it associated with your site in general you put it in the root folder. Most browsers should request it by default now. If you did all that and it's not showing up, are you sure you made it the right size? It should only be 16 x 16 |
