Hey!!! My Ip changed and know i dont know what to do. when ever i tried to go to phpmyadmin it says:
phpMyAdmin tried to connect to the MySQL server, and the server rejected the connection. You should check the host, username and password in config.inc.php and make sure that they correspond to the information given by the administrator of the MySQL server.

MySQL said:
#2003 - Can't connect to MySQL server on 'MY IP' (10060)
i already changed the the ip listed in the config.inc.php but this still happnes what do i do!!!!

If you are running mysql on your computer, then your host should be localhost. At least, thats what mine is and it works fine.

what os (operating system) are u using. I found with my old operating system that my localhost was whatever my computer name is, so what i had to do was change my computer name to 127.0.0.1 to get my webserver working. but standardly your webserver when u access it from your computer should be working on http://127.0.0.1/ followed by wot page u want to access.
Now if your trying to access ur computer form someone else's computer then ur talking about a different story cause you need the ip adress in which your isp gives you and the good thing about that is abyss has a nice we function that tells you your ip address. go to consol then help and then what is my ip address, i believe u shud find that there.
Right now yours isnt connecting to mysql so what you need to do is check that the localhost is set to 127.0.0.1 then check that its the right username and password in the config to connect to the database.
So if ive just went over a how pile of rubbish there but am pretty new to abyss and mysql, php myself well about 6months and am not to sure if thats what your looking for but am just trying to help anyway let me know if u solve your problem and how. God bless |
