|

Though the Aprelium download page says that "The latest version is Abyss Web Server X1 (version 1.2.1.0)," my newly upgraded Linux version says "Abyss Web Server 1.1.6" when the About page (in Console) is viewed.
I have installed abwsx1.tgz per Aprelium instructions twice but the version number remains 1.1.6. I also note that during CGI Interpreter setups, I don't see some of the new features referenced like:
"Besides, adding a CGI Interpreter is now more automated. The server can automatically update the CGI Paths according to the extensions you associate with the interpreter." There is no automatic selection dropdown as mentioned in the documentation.
Is the Linux version supposed to be the same version number and feature-for-feature the same? Thanks. Gary |

gsownsby,
The latest Linux version is 1.2.1.0 (when we upgrade the software, the upgrade is for Windows, Linux, FreeBSD and MacOS).
So, it seems that the old files weren't removed while upgrading. Please manually remove the file abyssws and the files inside chl and doc directories before upgrading. _________________ Support Team
