A full installation guide is provided in the Invosion Board package (in the install_guide subdirectory).
Follow the instructions there and the job will be done. The only exception is with the first step described there: you should bypass the uploading step (where you are told to use an FTP client) and copy the files using Windows explorer directly (since you have a full access to the web site directories). _________________ Support Team

*********************Run the "sm_install.php" file through your web browser by entering the URL to it into your browser address bar (if you have followed our example, type in http://www.domain.com/forums/sm_install.php, naturally subsituting 'domain.com' for your web address.) ********************
when I do this command I get ascript but nowhere to eneter the command lines it tells me to:-(
going to the page I get a 403 error |

chmod settings have to be ignored on Windows as you said.
Are you sure you're guetting error 403 when accessing this file? Do you own this file (this means, have you installed the files using another Windows account?) _________________ Support Team
