Ok, it logs in great when your using the ip at the web address. But I got a domain, that redirects to the ip, and mask the ip. If anyone uses the domain they cannot log in, if you type in the ip, you can log in. Can anybody tell me how to fix this? -THX |

Hi Jugg3rN@ut,
1. Can you post your IP and Domain name for us to see?
2. Who are you getting your Domain from? |

The ip is 24.233.40.222, the domain is www.foreverdying.com. I'm getting the domain from web.com but thats irrelivant because it doesn't log in correctly with any address besides the ip. |

Hi Jugg3rN@ut--
Your domain name behaves as if it is not being redirected properly. I see it was registered or renewed on Nov. 30. You would think that it should have worked around to resolve to your IP address by now.
I would contact web.com and ask them what is up.
Regards and Good luck,

Uhh, the redirection works perfectly, when I turn mask off so it shows the ip instead of www.foreverdying.com it logs in perfectly, but when I turn mask on, it doesnt log in properly, the same goes for anything, my old free url, and all other redirects. |

nslookup
Default Server: americium.btinternet.com
Address: 194.73.73.94
> www.foreverdying.com
Server: americium.btinternet.com
Address: 194.73.73.94
Non-authoritative answer:
Name: www.foreverdying.com
Address: 63.123.58.250
Foreverdying.com is pointing straight to one of the web.com servers instead of your system. Either contact them to find out why or use an alternative DNS service to edit the DNS yourself - try www.zoneedit.com |

Ok I changed it, it said it would take 24-48 hrs. But anyways, after that I need some more help. I have a Dynamic ip, so it changed like every couple of months. Is the some way I can get something like a false hostname that knows when my ip changes, so I can use that hostname for my server so it knows when my ip is changed, and I wont have to go back and change the name server to the new ip. I've heard of such program, but I don't remember the name. |

Check out DynDns.org or No-Ip.com... Personal preference is for DynDns.org - I'm not actually sure whether you can edit your DNS records to point to another DNS name rather than a specific IP but it's worth a try! :D |
